What the Trees Told Me.

From my window, I watch those trees and ask them, “Don’t you ever feel bored, standing in the same place every single day? Don’t you want to see what the next street looks like?”

Sometimes I wonder — is that ignorance, or is it the ultimate kind of peace?

But today, I looked at them again, and I realized something. The wind entertains them by shaking their branches every now and then. The weather keeps changing, giving them something new to feel all the time. Maybe they’re trying to tell me something deeper — that we don’t always have to change places to feel alive. The world itself keeps changing around us. Maybe that’s enough.

Maybe that’s what nature really means — staying rooted, while everything else moves.
Maybe that’s why our ancestors built homes and owned land — not to trap themselves, but to belong somewhere.
