You Don’t Need to Be an Expert to Write Good Articles.
Trust me.
If you’re someone like me, thinking that you need a Expert and a well-researched to produce good articles and get noticed by people out there — if you believe that only so-called experts get read s— then maybe you’re wrong.
Medium is such a great platform where people encourage each other. They even support amateurs like me to write articles. Don’t believe me? Let me show you.
A few days back, I wrote an article titled “No One Is Impressed with Your Possessions as Much as You Are” After posting it, I received a comment from a completely random person saying they really enjoyed my piece.

It was the first time someone had encouraged my writing, and it truly motivated me to write more articles.
Here’s what I learned from this experience:
️Write whatever you like.
No one is stopping you. Put your ideas and thoughts on paper. Some people will connect with your words, and eventually, you can build a network — but patience is key.
Never seek perfection.
Who knows? The piece that’s been sitting in your drafts for a long time might be the one that gets you the most views and reads.
Be patient.
Everything takes time. That’s a process we can’t avoid.
Appreciate every clap and comment.
Even getting one clap or comment is valuable. Think about it — someone who isn’t your friend or family member took the time to read your piece and appreciate your work.
Isn’t that beautiful? Don’t aim for a massive audience at the start. If you don’t get many reads or views, don’t be discouraged. It doesn’t mean you’re a bad writer — maybe people just haven’t discovered you yet.
Maybe your great piece of work got buried under countless other articles. Recognition will come in time.
And finally, to all my readers who motivate me every day — I’m grateful to you.
