Some days, It’s Ok to Cry

Some days,
you won’t feel brave.
You won’t feel wise.
You won’t feel like the “healed version” of you.

You’ll just feel… tired.

And that’s okay.

You’re allowed to have days
where brushing your teeth is a victory.
Where answering a message feels like a mountain.
Where your mind is loud
but your body feels numb.

You’ve spent so long being the strong one.
Holding space for others.
Smiling through pain.
Swallowing your needs.

But who’s holding you?

Strength isn’t always loud.
It’s not always confident.
It’s not always graceful.

Sometimes, strength is getting out of bed
when everything inside you says “stay.”

Sometimes, it’s letting yourself cry
without rushing to fix it.

Sometimes, it’s saying —
“I’m not okay today,
and I don’t have to pretend I am.”

You are not weak for needing rest.
You are not broken for falling apart.
You are not failing for not having it all together.

Healing is not linear.
Growth is not a straight line.
And strength?
It includes softness, too.

So give yourself permission
to not be perfect.
To not be productive.
To not be strong today.

Just be here.
Just breathe.
That’s enough.

You’re still you.
Even when you’re not shining.
