This Book Taught Me 10 Lessons I’ll Never Forget.
A short but profound read…
Ssome stories are more than just words on paper , they made you think, change your perspective and leave you with lessons that stay long after you’ve finished reading. I recently came across a book that did exactly that.
At first glance, it seemed like a simple story, but as I turned the pages, I realized it was much more — a guide to discipline, mastery, and purpose.
Paulo coelho The Archer is one such book . By the time I finished, I had learned 10 powerful lessons that I know will stay with me forever. And I want to share them with you.
1. Knowing Isn’t Enough — You Must Practice
Teaching it isn’t hard .The difficult thing is to practice it everyday, until you achieve the necessary precision.
Learning something new is exciting, but real mastery comes from daily practice. Teaching isn’t hard — the real challenge is showing up every day, putting in the effort, and refining your skills until they become second nature. Whatever you’re working on, keep going. Precision comes with time.
2. A True Master Doesn’t Teach — He Inspires
What is a master ?
Not someone who teaches something, but someone who inspires the student to do his best to discover a knowledge he already has in his soul .
Have you ever met someone who made you want to do better, not because they told you to, but because they made you believe you could? A real master doesn’t just pass on knowledge; they awaken something inside you. The answers you seek are already within — you just need someone to remind you of them.
3. Embrace the Fall — That’s Where Growth Begins
join with all those who experiment , take risks , fall , get hurt and then take more risks.
The safest path is the one where you never fail, but also the one where you never grow. Join those who take risks, fall, get hurt, and rise again. Every mistake, every setback, every scar — it all shapes you into someone stronger. Keep moving forward.
4. Never Forget Your True Destination
Water never forgots that the sea is its destiny and that sooner or later it must be reached .
No matter how far you stray, remember this: water always finds its way back to the sea. You have a purpose, a calling, a destination. Even when you feel lost, trust that you will find your way. Keep flowing.
5. Every Action Leaves a Mark on You
Each arrow leaves a memory in your heart ,and it is the sum of those meomries that will make you shoot better and better
Think about the choices you make, the words you speak, the goals you chase — each one leaves a memory, a lesson, a feeling in your heart. Just like an archer remembers every shot, you carry the weight of your experiences. Use them to aim better next time.
6. Depth Lies Beneath the Surface
The snow is lovely because it has only one color, the sea is lovely because it apperas to be completely flat surface, but both sea and snow are deep and know their own qualities
Snow looks pure and simple. The sea seems calm and flat. But beneath them lies depth, movement, and unseen strength. The same goes for you. Never let the world judge you by your surface — your true power runs deep.
7. Your Intentions Shape Your Destiny
A man’s intention should be perfect ,straight, sharp, firm, precise . No one can stop it as it crosses the space sperating it from its destiny
A strong intention is unstoppable. It should be straight, sharp, and precise. Once you set your aim, don’t let doubt, fear, or hesitation get in the way. Move forward with confidence — your path is waiting.
8. Let Go When the Time Comes
Nothing in the world stays with us for very long : at a given moment, your hand will have to open and allow your intention to follow its destiny.
Nothing in life is meant to stay forever. One day, you’ll have to release what you’ve been holding onto — whether it’s a person, a dream, or even an identity. Don’t be afraid to let go. Trust that what’s meant to reach its destiny will find its way.
9. No Two Moments Are Ever the Same
With repetition, although it may appear to be the same thing ,it is always different
Even when you repeat the same action over and over, each time is different. Each attempt carries a new lesson, a new challenge, a new perspective. Don’t treat repetition as routine — see it as an opportunity to improve.
10. The Journey Matters More Than the Destination
Path is more important than the thing that first set him on the path .
You might start chasing a goal for one reason, but along the way, you’ll realize something more important: the path itself is where life happens. What you become during the journey is far greater than the goal you first set out to achieve.
