I used to call myself lazy all the time.
 And I believed it.
Because that’s what it looked like —
Me lying on the bed, phone in hand, doing nothing while the to-do list gathered dust.

But the truth?

I wasn’t lazy.
I was just tired of doing things that didn’t make sense to me.

You ever try to work on something and feel your brain shut off?
Like you’re physically there, but mentally… gone?

That was me.
 And maybe that’s you too.

It’s not that you hate work.
It’s that you hate this work.
 This life.
This routine that feels like someone else’s idea of “success.”

Funny thing is — I’m not lazy when I’m doing something I care about.

I’ve spent 3 hours tweaking a playlist just to get the vibe right.
I’ve skipped meals while writing something that actually mattered to me.
I’ve stayed up all night chasing ideas that no one even asked me to do.

No one had to push me.
 I didn’t need motivation.
I just wanted to do it.

So when did we start believing that discipline is the solution to everything?

Like we can just force our way through soul-numbing days with to-do lists and caffeine?

Discipline is great.
But if the thing you’re being disciplined about makes you feel dead inside…

What’s the point?

Maybe the question isn’t,
“How do I stop being lazy?”
 Maybe it’s,
“Why don’t I care about this anymore?”

Or deeper —
“Why am I still forcing myself to be someone I’m not?”

You don’t need another productivity app.
You need something to feel again.
You need something that makes your eyes light up.

And no — I’m not saying quit your job tomorrow or run off into the forest (unless that’s your thing).

But at least admit it:
 You’re bored.
 You’re tired.
And no part of you feels alive doing what you’re doing.

That’s not laziness.
That’s your inner self begging for something real.

So yeah, maybe you’re not the problem.
Maybe the life you’re forcing yourself to live is.

You’re not lazy. You’re uninspired.

There’s a big difference.

Now go find what makes you feel alive again.
 Even if it’s small.
Even if no one else gets it.

You do.

And that’s enough.
